Safety Committee Gets Certified
Last month, Joe Hundley came to Collins & Jewell to train t he member of the safety committee on CPR an AED. The training was hands-on and very informative, while being fun and easy to learn. Our committee members are now certified in the American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED program! Collins & Jewell highly recommends Joe and his training course to local businesses and any other in need of certification!
C&J at Belden Wire and Cable
Collins & Jewell began working on the complete electrical and mechanical relocation of extrusion and bare wire equipment between Belden’s facilities in March of 2016. This is a big project for our road crew, expecting to carry into 2018. It requires a crew of 5 employees at each location, working 2 to 3 week at a time. This job is a perfect example of the custom turn key installation s that C&J is capable of. Pictured is cabler, an extruder system and the front end of an extrusion line.
Caterpillar Forklift
Collins & Jewell’s Caterpillar forklift got a new paint job and stickers last month! Looks pretty good for being from 1993! Much thanks to our shop and maintenance employees for keeping our equipment in a good condition!
